Yas Opisso

Yas Opisso is a seasoned professional in technology and visual effects, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Maere Studios since March 2024 and owning Ditú since April 2017. With a history of impactful leadership roles, Yas held the position of Global Head of Development at CoSA VFX from June 2015 to March 2024, where significant contributions included the development of automated payroll systems and web-based bidding systems. Yas also has extensive experience as Pipeline TD, contributing to projects such as Curpigeon: A 3D Animated Short and has a background in dance and IT, having worked as a professional dancer with prestigious companies and as an IT Technician in Cuba. An alumnus of the Academy of Art University with a BFA in Animation & VFX, Yas combines artistic talent with technical expertise gained from a strong educational foundation.
