Michael Jensen

Michael Jensen has extensive work experience in various roles within the purchasing and category management fields. Michael is currently the Head of Category Management Star Cool at Maersk Container Industry since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Danfoss, where they held multiple director-level positions, including Director, Head of Category Embedded Software & Microcontrollers from 2017 to 2022, Director, Head of Category Electronic Components from 2013 to 2016, and Director of Purchasing from 2009 to 2013. Before joining Danfoss, they worked at Linak A/S as a Purchaser from 1994 to 2002 and at SJ Elektronik A/S as a Production Technician from 1990 to 1994.

Michael Jensen studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark from 1983 to 1989, earning a BScE degree. In 1989, they attended EUC Syd/Håndværkerskolen Sønderborg, where they completed a program in Electronics Technician/Electronics Engineering with a specialization in Digital Technique.
