Pia Bak

Pia Bak has extensive experience in human resources and operations, currently serving as People Business Partner and Head of People Operations at Maersk Tankers since June 2017. In this role, Pia oversees the internal People Operations team and collaborates with HR-Afdelingen on payroll matters. Prior roles at Maersk Tankers include focusing on support for Commercial, Digital, Chartering, and Freight Solutions, with an emphasis on agile methodologies. Pia's earlier experience encompasses various HR and training positions at Maersk Drilling and A.P. Moller - Maersk Group, where responsibilities ranged from team leadership and performance management to training and administrative support. Pia holds a degree as a bilingual secretary from the University of Southern Denmark.
