Evren Aktas

Evren Aktas, CPA, currently serves as the Regional Chief Financial Officer for Brightstar, overseeing financial planning and budgeting for the Turkey, Middle East, and Africa cluster with an annual revenue exceeding $1 billion. Since April 2010, Aktas has successfully implemented operational KPI tracking for Vodafone, negotiated vendor terms to reduce financing costs, and spearheaded M&A projects, significantly enhancing cash flow and working capital management. Prior to this role, Aktas held the position of Chief Financial Officer for Turkey, where revenue growth of over 95% was achieved within three years, and successfully implemented a new ERP system. Earlier experience includes serving as an Audit Manager at KPMG Turkey, leading national and international financial statement audits across various sectors. Aktas holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Boğaziçi University.
