Renier Els

Renier Els currently serves as the Regional Business Development Manager for South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa at deugro since January 2023. Els is also a part-time co-founder of REDS since August 2022. Prior experience includes a role as District Sales Executive at Expeditors from March 2021 to August 2022, and Business Development Executive in the USA for Rhenus Logistics from August 2018 to December 2020. Earlier positions include the Head of Project Logistics and Project Manager at Rhenus Logistics Gulf DWC LLC, Project Manager at ALE, and Operations Manager and Coordinator at Rhenus Logistics, following its acquisition of KOG Transport. Els began a career as a Technical Assistant at the Private Office of Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Zayed Al Nahyan from 2008 to 2011. Education includes attendance at Hoërskool Monument High School.
