SVP, Global Head of Ocean Products & Network at A.P. Moller - Maersk

Silvia Ding has extensive work experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Silvia currently holds the position of SVP, Chief Transformation Officer at A.P. Moller - Maersk, where they are responsible for digitizing and integrating products and processes to provide integrated logistics solutions. Prior to this role, they served as the SVP, Global Head of Ocean Products & Network, overseeing the pricing, network, and P&L of the world's largest ocean carrier. Silvia also held the position of SVP, Global Head of Ocean Products, where they focused on driving P&L results and transforming the product offering and pricing methodology. Other notable roles include SVP, Global Head of Trades and Vice President, Head of Greater China. Silvia Ding's experience also includes managerial positions such as Managing Director and Country Manager in various locations, as well as roles in customer service and business performance management. Before entering the shipping industry, they worked as an Executive Assistant at CEES and as an Editor at TRENDY Magazine.

Silvia Ding completed their formal education with a Bachelor's degree in British & American Language & Literature from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Later, they pursued further education by completing the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA program in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from 2013 to 2014.
