Vanya Kootchin

Vanya Kootchin is a Computer Engineering graduate from Queen's University, with robust experience in software development and project management. Currently serving as a Computer Engineering Intern at Maestronic, Vanya has led the full-stack development of a Webserver User Interface and designed cost-effective simulation software, while also enhancing system accuracy by transitioning software from MATLAB to Python. Prior experience includes work as a Consultancy Design Team Member at QMIND, where Vanya developed an AI-powered knowledge graph system, and as a First Year Representative, successfully fundraising for a major conference. Vanya's foundation in customer service and communication was established during tenure at Sewell's Marina, where significant collaboration and client engagement were key responsibilities.
