Derek Lewis

Derek Lewis has extensive work experience in the aerospace and engineering industry. Derek started their career in 2004 at SAIC, where they held the position of Vice President and Division Manager until 2013. Derek then moved on to Leidos, where they worked as Vice President and Chief Engineer from 2014 until 2022. Additionally, they also served as Vice President and Division Manager at Leidos from 2013 to 2014. In 2022, Derek joined RapidFlight, LLC as the Director of Strategy. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President of Technical Solutions at MAG Aerospace, starting in 2023.

Derek Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics from Virginia Tech and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Physics from the University of New Orleans.
