Anastasia Simonoff

Anastasia Simonoff is a Machine Learning Analyst at Magellan AI since June 2023, focusing on machine learning solutions for podcast advertisement analytics. In addition to this role, Anastasia has a long-standing career as a pianist since August 2005 and has held various research positions including a Research Assistant at the University of Chicago's Dr. David Freedman's laboratory from October 2018 to December 2022, a NeuroAI Research Intern at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory under Dr. Arkarup Banerjee from July to September 2022, and a researcher at Peking University in Professor Yulong Li's lab where engineering of fluorescent sensors and data analysis program development took place. Previous experience also includes a research internship at Fermilab in 2017 where calibration of bolometers for the South Pole Telescope was accomplished using Python and AutoCAD. Anastasia earned a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Music from the University of Chicago in 2022, following education at the College of Lake County and Adlai E. Stevenson High School.
