Ilham Israr

Ilham Israr has worked as an Operation Engineer at Propeller (previously SCNX) since November 2019. In this role, they analyzed operability requirements for upgrades and new equipment installations, provided independent technical reviews of operational procedures and plans, and identified functional bottlenecks. Prior to that, they worked as a Marine Engineer at Eaglestar from April 2017 to November 2019 and at MISC BHD from November 1999 to April 2017.

Ilham Israr's education history is as follows:

- From 1997 to 1998, Ilham attended Sekolah Menengah Teknik Kuala Lumpur (TIKL) where they studied Mechanical Engineering.

- From 1999 to 2003, Ilham studied Marine Engineering at Ungku Omar Polytechnic and obtained a Diploma of Education.

- In terms of additional certifications, Ilham obtained a Certificate of Competency (CoC) from the MARINE DEPARTMENT MALAYSIA in November 2022.

- Ilham also obtained an Advanced Fire Fighting certification from the MARINE DEPARTMENT MALAYSIA in April 2022.

- Furthermore, Ilham holds a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) certification from the Board of Engineers Malaysia, obtained in February 2023.

- Ilham achieved an EF SET English Certificate 72/100 (C2 Proficient) from the EF Standard English Test (EF SET) in January 2023.

- Ilham has completed various training programs and workshops related to maritime industry, including Basic Training Liquefied Gas Tanker, Basic Training, Maritime Accident Investigation & Risk Management, Port State Control & Vetting Inspection, Leadership & Managerial Skill, Medical Care, Designated Security Duties, Basic Training Oil and Chemical Tanker, Engine Resource Management, Engine Room Team Management, Focused Tanker Safety Culture Training Workshop, Security Awareness, Liquefied Gas Tanker Training, Medical First Aid, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting.
