Michal Lagan

Michal Lagan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Michal is currently working as the Head of National IoT Sales at Magenta Telekom, where they lead a team of professionals focused on selling IoT connectivity and solutions to Austrian customers. Michal joined Magenta Telekom in January 2021 as the Head of IoT & Immo Key Account Management and achieved exceptional results, outperforming the average IoT market growth by nearly 50% on the domestic market.

Prior to joining Magenta Telekom, Michal worked at MAVOCO AG from May 2015 to September 2020, where they served as the Head of Marketing. Michal also founded and served as the CEO of smavin - smart sensors for vineyards, an IoT-Hardware-Startup focused on the agricultural industry, from November 2016 to January 2019.

Before that, Michal worked at Freeeway AG from May 2015 to July 2018 as the Head of Marketing & IoT Connectivity Sales. Michal was responsible for selling IoT connectivity solutions to B2B customers on a global scale and achieved impressive year-on-year growth of 100%.

Michal's earlier work experience includes serving as a Product Manager at E2 Communications GmbH from April 2011 to May 2015, where they were responsible for social and mobile marketing, product development, and customer solutions. Michal also worked at HEROLD Business Data GmbH as a Product Management internet from July 2010 to March 2011.

Michal Lagan began their education at FH Burgenland in 2007. From 2007 to 2010, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Information Management at FH Burgenland. In 2010, they continued their studies at FH Burgenland and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Engineering with a specialization in Business Process Management & Engineering in 2012. Michal also completed a degree in Information Management, Business Process Management & Engineering in 2013.
