Samantha Briggs

Samantha Briggs is currently an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland, focusing on law and justice courses, and has actively participated in various student advisory groups. As a Student Manager at the Terp to Terp ReUse Store, Samantha has effectively engaged the community through outreach initiatives and project coordination. Samantha holds the role of Sustainability Director within the University of Maryland Student Government Association, emphasizing sustainable practices on campus. Samantha's experience also includes a Legislative Internship at the Maryland General Assembly, as well as roles such as Chief of Internal Affairs in the Residence Hall Association and Deputy Director of the Sustainability Committee. Samantha is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government at the University of Maryland, expected to graduate in May 2025.
