Leah Hammond

Leah Hammond is the House Production Technician at Magic Theatre. Leah has over five years of experience working in the music industry, both in administrative roles and coordinating with other departments to ensure a seamless artist experience. Leah has also trained and managed over-hire Artist Assistants.

Prior to working at Magic Theatre, Leah was an Artist Assistant Coordinator at SFJAZZ for four years. In this role, Leah was responsible for set up dressing rooms, green room, and catered dinner to create inviting environment for musicians. Leah also coordinated with other departments to ensure seamless artist experience: scheduling with Stage Manager, merchandise with Front of House, guest lists with Box Office, private events with Development, transportation with Logistics. Leah also escorted artists to stage for sound check and performances, and to CD signings, meet-and-greets, receptions.

Before working at SFJAZZ, Leah interned at Peace Development Fund and was a Lead Field Manager at Grassroots Campaigns. Leah also has experience working as an Administrative Assistant and English Language Tutor.

Leah Hammond is an experienced professional with a passion for the music industry. Leah’s experience and skills make their an asset to any team.

Leah Hammond completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Oppression and Resistance Studies from Mount Holyoke College, cum laude. Leah also participated in an exchange student program at Université Cheikh Anta Diop.

Leah Hammond reports to Karina Fox, Producing & Casting Director. They are on a team with Daniel Duque-Estrada - Artistic Producing Associate, Kate Leary - Literary Manager & Artistic Producer.
