Tuomas Savolainen

Tuomas Savolainen is a Machine Learning Engineer at MagiCAD since June 2023, with a strong background in software development and sensor systems. Previously, Tuomas served as a Senior Software Engineer at Unikie from September 2021 to May 2023, focusing on sensor fusion involving cameras, Lidars, GNSS/GPS, and IMUs. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at LaDiMo Oy, where real-time light simulation was designed using Optix, CUDA, C++, and Python, as well as work as an Embedded Software Engineer at Trenox. Tuomas also contributed as a Research Assistant at Aalto University and the Finnish Meteorological Institute, developing software for various applications. Academically, Tuomas holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Aalto University.
