Samantha Wakefield

Samantha Wakefield is an experienced HR professional with a diverse background in safeguarding, people management, and human resources across various international organizations. Currently serving as Safeguarding Lead at MAG (Mines Advisory Group) since October 2018, Samantha previously held key positions such as People Management and HR Thematic Lead at CHS Alliance and was involved in the startup phase of Save the Children's Search and Rescue Project. With extensive experience at MAG, Save the Children, Oxfam, and other NGOs, Samantha has developed expertise in global HR management, having served in various roles including Director of HR and Regional Human Resources Manager. Educational qualifications include a postgraduate diploma in Career Management and Counselling from Birkbeck, an MA in Women's Studies from the University of Westminster, and a BA in History from the University of Reading.
