John Flynn

John Flynn has been working in the engineering field since 1997. John began their career at Synkinetics Inc. as a Test Engineer, where they were responsible for establishing three test labs in house and conducting tear-down and tribological analysis. In 2001, they moved to Foster-Miller Inc. as a Staff Engineer, where they were the head of the Locomotive crash worthiness facility and conducted full scale destructive testing of major structural components of several locomotive engines. In 2012, they held two positions as a Test Engineer, first at Sun Catalytix Inc. and then at Test Devices Inc. In 2014, they moved to Shell TechWorks as a Test Engineer, and then to Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory as a Mechanical Designer in 2015. Finally, in 2017, they joined MagiQ Technologies as a Mechanical Design Engineer, and in 2020 they moved to Vuronyx Technologies as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

John Flynn attended Wentworth Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Design.
