Chris Alfred, M.Eng., P.Eng. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and process engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at Magna International since February 2014, Chris leads high-profile projects in the Promatek R&D division of Magna's Cosma Group, focusing on bringing innovative concepts to launch readiness while managing project timelines, deliverables, and budgets. Prior to this role, Chris worked as a Process Engineer and Project Manager at Silicor/Clean Power Innovation, making significant advancements in silicon purification and collaborating with the Kazakhstan government. Earlier career roles included Casting Supervisor at Alcoa and Metallurgist at Magna Powertrain, which involved leadership in production and staff training. Chris holds both a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
