Devender Jain

Devender Jain has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as Head of Engineering at Magna International since May 2013. Jain previously held positions as Divisional Manager for Body-in-White and seating systems at Force Motors Ltd from March 2011 to May 2013, and as Senior Product Engineer & Project Leader at Lear Automotive India Pvt Ltd from June 2006 to February 2011. Earlier roles include R&D Engineer at Krishna Maruti Ltd from October 2001 to May 2006 and Development Engineer at Cimmco Birla Limited from November 1996 to September 2001. Jain began a career as a Trainee Engineer at Eicher Tractors in 1996. Jain holds an Executive Program in Leadership and Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Institution of Engineers of India and Rajasthan University.
