John Duthie

John Duthie has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and event management. John is currently working as a Systems Engineer at Magna5 since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Technician at SpinnerTech from February 2019. In 2013, they joined Playthrough LLC as an Event Director, where they were responsible for event management, marketing, social media strategy, and client relations. From March 2014 to February 2019, they worked as an IT Support Technician at Hagedorn Little Village School, performing first-level IT support, troubleshooting, and system upgrades. Before that, from June 2010 to March 2014, they served as the Tech Support Coordinator at Motivators, where they handled technical support, server/network operations, and system upgrades.

John Duthie completed their Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at Stony Brook University from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained several certifications in the field of computer science, including "Operating Systems and You: Becoming a Power User" from Coursera in July 2018, "The Bits and Bytes of Computer Networking" from Coursera in May 2018, and "Technical Support Fundamentals" from Coursera in April 2018.
