Abhinay Palshetkar

Abhinay Palshetkar has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Abhinay started their career as a Finance Executive at Mars Restaurants Private Limited in Mumbai, where they worked from 1999 to 2003. Abhinay then joined IDBI Bank as a Research Officer & Data Analyst, where they managed third-party products and prepared MIS reports. Abhinay worked at IDBI Bank from 2003 to 2005.

In 2005, Abhinay joined Deutsche Bank as an Operation Manager, responsible for setting up the investment operation unit in India. Abhinay managed end-to-end operations for investment products and handled mutual fund assets under management. Abhinay worked at Deutsche Bank until 2007.

From 2007 to 2011, Abhinay worked at RAKBANK, initially as an Officer in Credit Operations and later as an Assistant Manager in the Interchange Settlement & Transaction Processing Unit, Card Operations. Abhinay then became a Manager in the Card Products & Support Services team, where they played a key role in product development, system implementation, and project management.

In 2017, Abhinay was promoted to the role of Product Manager, Merchant Acquiring Business at RAKBANK. As a founding member of the team, they were involved in launching the Acquiring Business and managing various teams. Abhinay worked closely with senior management to launch new product initiatives and improve efficiency in product delivery.

Abhinay's most recent position was as the Executive Director of Acceptance Products at Magnati since 2022.

Abhinay Palshetkar completed their education at Mumbai University. In 1999, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance. From 2001 to 2003, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from Mumbai University.

In terms of additional certifications, Abhinay Palshetkar received various qualifications. In 2004, they became AMFI Certified for Mutual Fund Sales and IRDA Certified for Insurance Sales. Abhinay also obtained a certification for Business Continuity Management - British Standard 25999 Internal Auditor from the British Standard Institute (BSI). Abhinay Palshetkar completed the Dynamics of Acquiring certification from Mastercard and also received the Mastercard Pricing & Interchange certification. Furthermore, they acquired the Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. Lastly, Abhinay Palshetkar participated in the Visa Training on "Customer Lifecycle Management Simulation" conducted by Visa.
