Saurabh Kakkar

Saurabh Kakkar has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. Saurabh is currently the Head of Technology - Strategy & Architecture at Magnati since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Enterprise Architect at Dubai Islamic Bank from November 2020 to November 2021. Saurabh was a Systems Architect at RAKBANK from April 2017 to November 2020, where they communicated with staff or clients to understand system requirements, provided advice on design concepts, and collaborated with engineers for selecting appropriate design solutions. Saurabh briefly worked as an Architect at Quinnox, Inc. in early 2017. Before that, Saurabh was a Sr Consultant at Capgemini from April 2016 to January 2017, where they provided inputs on scalability and led technical teams in solution design and development. As a Technical Lead at Zenmonics Inc. from August 2015 to April 2016, Saurabh directed projects through all lifecycle phases and defined project plans. Saurabh started their career as a System Analyst at Axis Bank Ltd in May 2013, maintaining and supporting systems for data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives. Prior to that, Saurabh was a Technical Team Lead at IDBI Intech from April 2009 to May 2013, where they conducted feasibility studies, played a key role in design and development activities, and mentored a team of developers.

Saurabh Kakkar completed their Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from The ICFAI University, Dehradun, from 2006 to 2009, with a focus on Computers. Additionally, they have obtained multiple certifications, including the IBM Blockchain Essentials and IBM Blockchain Foundation Developer from IBM in April 2018, the LFS171x: Blockchain for Business - An Introduction to Hyperledger Technologies from The Linux Foundation in April 2018, the IBM Certified Application Developer - Cloud Platform V1 from IBM in September 2016, the Introduction to Pivotal Cloud Foundry from Pivotal Software, Inc. in June 2016, the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2021, and the Certified SAFe 5 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2021.
