Glen Smith

Glen Smith has over two decades of experience in legal counsel and documentation within the financial services industry. Currently serving as Counsel at Magnetar Capital LLC since May 2007, Glen Smith specializes in negotiating capital markets trading documentation, including prime brokerage agreements and derivatives agreements. Previously, Glen Smith held positions as an Attorney at Barclays Capital, focusing on securitization derivatives, Counsel at WestLB managing ISDA derivatives documentation, and worked on ISDA Master Agreements at Bear Stearns. Glen Smith earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Cardozo School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from The George Washington University.
