Jason McLaughlin

Jason McLaughlin is a seasoned Senior Full Stack Engineer currently developing internal web applications for Apple at Bayside Solutions since March 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Software Engineer and Digital Solutions Lead at NRG Energy, where responsibilities centered on application and API architecture during the integration of Direct Energy, with significant contributions to NodeJS-based microservices and Angular front-end development. At Direct Energy, Jason held the position of Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead, focusing on PHP and MySQL maintenance, as well as developing a flagship big-data feature. Earlier roles included PHP Developer at Keen Technology Consulting and Web Engineer at MediaFire, where Jason contributed to API development and back-end improvements. Jason began a career in web development as a Web Developer at Infinity Pro Sports, creating numerous websites and custom CMS solutions. Jason holds a degree from Texas A&M University, completed between 1999 and 2002.
