Frederick Jansen

Frederick Jansen has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Frederick is currently working as the Senior Director of Engineering at Magnite, a position they started in December 2021. Prior to that, they founded Metabytes LLC in 2019 and continues to work as the Founder. From 2020 to 2021, they served as the Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder at Nth Party, Ltd., which is now part of Magnite. Between 2015 and 2021, Frederick worked at the Boston University Software & Application Innovation Lab, where they held multiple roles including Interim Director, Associate Director of Engineering, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. Before that, they worked as a Client Core Developer at Goodgame Studios from 2013 to 2015, and as a PHP Developer at group94 for a brief period in 2013. Frederick began their career at Infrared5 in 2012, where they worked as a Rich Media Developer, Consultant and an Intern Developer.

Frederick Jansen completed their Bachelor's Degree in Interactive Multimedia Design from Thomas More University of Applied Sciences from 2011 to 2013. Frederick then pursued a Master's Degree in Liberal Arts in Extension Studies with a concentration in IT and Information Management Systems at Harvard University from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2011, they attended HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen where they studied Digital Design and Multimedia.
