Luke McCarley, CPL

Luke McCarley, CPL has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Luke currently holds the position of Supervisor, Corporate Land at Magnolia Oil & Gas. In their previous role as Lead Corporate Landman at the same company, they have been serving since October 2021.

Prior to their tenure at Magnolia Oil & Gas, Luke worked as a Land Manager at Maverick Natural Resources, overseeing a team responsible for managing millions of acres and thousands of wells across multiple states. Before that, they were a Land Consultant at Lucky Duke LLC for a year.

Luke also gained valuable experience as a Senior Landman at Riviera Resources, Inc. and Sabine Oil & Gas, where they honed their skills in land management. Luke started their career as a Landman at Lewis Energy Group and began their introduction to the industry as a Land Intern at Petrocasa Energy.

Throughout their career, Luke has demonstrated expertise in various areas of land management and has consistently excelled in their roles.

Luke McCarley, CPL obtained their Bachelor's degree in Energy Management/Finance from the University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business. Luke attended the university from 2005 to 2010. In August 2016, they obtained the Certified Professional Landman (CPL) certification from the American Association of Professional Landmen.
