Martin Toomajian

Martin Toomajian has over 25 years of experience in various leadership roles in technology, chemical manufacturing, and business consulting. Martin most recently served as President and CEO of MagPlasma, where they developed novel processes and technologies for renewable chemicals and materials. Their previous roles include Chief Strategy and Growth Officer at Ventech Solutions, advising the EVP of Administrative Services at Michigan State University, and CEO of a specialty chemical manufacturing company. Toomajian spent 15 years at Battelle, where they served in various leadership roles, including President of Energy, Health, & Environment, Vice President and General Manager of National Security Operations, and President of Energy, Environment, and Material Sciences. Martin began their career as an Instructor in the Department of Chemistry at the United States Military Academy.

Martin Toomajian earned their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan between the years 1981 and 1985. Martin then pursued a Master's in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University from 1989 to 1991. In 2008-2009, they went to the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy to obtain an MS degree in National Resource Strategy, and they specifically focused on Agribusiness. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Professional Engineer in October 1998.
