Lorie Chu

Lorie is an Analyst at Maguire Associates. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from UCLA, with a concentration on Quantitative Analysis.

She is a strong believer in the power of data and takes particular interest in data analytics, predictive modeling and machine learning in R. During her time at UCLA, Lorie focused her studies on predicting the impact of education on adults’ lives, and the statistical relationship between children’s everyday activities, parenting experienced and academic performance. Most recently, she worked in SAS Research and Development, specializing in data management using SQL and Python.
