Andras Borsos, Ph.D., is a Senior Economist at Magyar Nemzeti Bank since December 2018 and has also held the role of Economist. Since June 2024, Andras serves as an Associate at The Institute for New Economic Thinking at the Oxford Martin School, while simultaneously functioning as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Complexity Science Hub Vienna since July 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Visiting Researcher at both The Institute for New Economic Thinking and Complexity Science Hub Vienna, as well as a Junior Analyst at Magyar Nemzeti Bank and an intern at Hungary's Ministry of Finance and IFUA Horváth & Partners Management Consultants. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Network and Data Science and a Master's degree in Economic Policy in Global Markets from Central European University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Corvinus University of Budapest.
