Somesh Dravid

Somesh Dravid has a comprehensive work experience in the HR field, particularly in the automotive and farming sectors. Somesh is currently the Vice President of Human Resources at Mahindra and Mahindra Limited. Prior to this, they held various leadership positions within the company, including Head of COE for Compensation, Global Mobility, and Shared Services. Somesh also served as the Head of HR for the Agriculture Sector, where they handled HR operations for multiple business entities and ventures. Moreover, Somesh has experience setting up new companies and establishing HR functions across different countries. Before joining Mahindra and Mahindra, they worked at Ssangyong Motor Company as the General Manager of the HR Division. Overall, Somesh has a strong background in HR management, including performance management, compensation, shared services, and process improvement.

Somesh Dravid received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Business Research with a focus on Culture, Leadership, and Organizational Performance from Monarch University, graduating in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained an Executive Diploma in HRM from XLRI Jamshedpur, completing their studies in 2007. Their earlier education includes a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Vishvakarma Institute of Technology, which they received in 1993.
