Jay Rungta is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business management and marketing within the automotive sector. Currently serving as the Business Head - Retail at Mahindra First Choice Wheels Ltd since April 2016, Jay is responsible for the X-Mart Business across India, having also held positions as National Head, Cluster Head, and State Head, focusing on channel operations in Maharashtra, Goa, and the Mumbai Metropolitan region. Prior experience includes a role as Brand Manager at Mahindra & Mahindra, managing the Maxximo Mini Van and Supro Van brands, as well as an internship at Mahindra & Mahindra involving brand strength analysis of the Mahindra Verito. Jay’s career began at The Tata Power Company Ltd. and is complemented by an MBA in Marketing from Symbiosis Centre For Management and Human Resource Development and current participation in the Mahindra Accelerated Leadership Track at Carnegie Mellon University.
