Gaurav Singh is a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Mahindra University's Centre for Life Sciences, where they are currently pursuing a PhD in Biotechnology. Prior to this, they worked as a Dissertation Research Project Fellow at Amity University Mumbai, where they studied the anti-quorum sensing effects of thymoquinone on pseudomonas aeruginosa. Gaurav holds a MS in Biotechnology from Amity University Mumbai and a BS in Biotechnology from Thakur College of Science & Commerce.

The “Centre for Life Sciences” at Mahindra University has been launched to provide UG & PG education and research in futuristic domains of Biotechnology and Computational Biology. The Centre will further enrich the industrial ecosystem of the Hub of Life Sciences (Hyderabad), housing Genome Valley, Medical Devices Park and Pharma City with more than 800 life sciences companies with US$ 50 billion combined value.
