Nicolas Ferrand

Nicolas Ferrand has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Head of Pre-development Fluid Cooled Heat Exchanger at MAHLE since November 2013, where responsibilities include the development of heat exchangers for PHEV, BEV, and FCEV. Previous roles at MAHLE include Lead Change Agent in Lean Management and Head of Pre-development Engine Mounted Components Heat Exchangers, focusing on engine cooling systems. Prior to MAHLE, Nicolas worked at Groupe PSA from January 2009 to November 2013 as Innovation Project Manager, leading projects to design future powertrain integration modules, and as Organic Team Leader and Innovation Designer, contributing to groundbreaking technologies and optimizing SCR systems. Early experience includes positions at Peugeot Citröen Moteur as an Apprentice, Valeo as an End-of-studies project contributor, and Renault as an Engineer Assistant. Nicolas holds a Master's degree in Powertrain Engineering from Ecole du Pétrole et des Moteurs and another Master's degree in Land Transportation Systems from Arts et Métiers.
