Sunny Walia

Sunny Walia is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Mahmee. Sunny has over 15 years of experience in the technology industry and has held various leadership positions at some of the world's largest companies. Prior to Mahmee, Sunny was the Chief Technology Officer at SpinMedia, Inc., where they were responsible for consolidating the merging of 3 corporate mergers: Spin Publications, Vibe Publications and Buzzmedia, a portfolio of over 30 web properties. Sunny has also held the position of VP, Engineering & Operations at Demand Media Inc., where they led engineering and operations teams across the Demand Media portfolio of sites and managed the scaling of Demand Media to a comscore top 10 property and through IPO. In their various roles, Sunny has gained experience in being a liaison between business and tech, M&A tech diligence lead for over 10 acquisitions, and platform architect for building scaled and redundant deployments across global datacenters for a public traded company.

Sunny Walia's educational career consists of a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University - East Bay.
