Abeda Sultana

Abeda Sultana has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Abeda started their career in 1999 as an English and Social Studies Teacher at Mastermind School in Dhaka. Abeda'sresponsibilities included managing student behavior, providing subject information, facilitating the learning process through explanation and practice, and attending faculty meetings.

In 1999, Abeda also worked as a Technology Assistant at the American International School Dhaka (AISD).

From 2002 to 2019, Abeda held various roles at AISD, including Information Technology Officer, Chief Technology Support Officer, Systems Manager & Website Administrator, Summer School Coordinator, and Senior IT Manager. These roles involved managing IT systems, coordinating summer school programs for international students aged 3 to 13, and overseeing website administration.

Since 2018, Abeda has been working as an Account Manager at MaiaLearning Inc., where they are responsible for managing client accounts.

Throughout their career, Abeda has demonstrated expertise in education, IT management, and client relationship management.

Abeda Sultana's education history begins in 1981 when they attended Pakistan Urdu School/College in Bahrain. Abeda completed their SSC in Science in 1992 at the same institution. After that, from 1992 to 1994, they pursued their HSC in Science at Pakistan Urdu School/College in Bahrain as well.

In 1996, Abeda joined National University and studied English. Abeda completed their BA (honors) degree in English from National University in 2000.

In 2008, Abeda attended Aptech, Uttara, where they focused on Information Technology and obtained a degree in DISM. Abeda then continued their studies at Daffodil International University-DIU from 2009 to 2012, majoring in Information Technology. During this time, they obtained an MIS degree.

In addition to their formal education, Abeda Sultana has also obtained several certifications. Abeda became a Google Certified Educator Level 2 in January 2017 and a Google Certified Educator Level 1 in January 2020 through the Google for Education Training Center. Abeda also earned the Google G Suite Certified Administrator designation in June 2016 from the Google Apps Certification Program. Abeda has completed various courses from Coursera, including Leading Teams, Influencing People, Inspiring and Motivating Individuals, Managing Talent, Inspiring Leadership through Emotional Intelligence, and Understanding Media by Understanding Google. Abeda obtained these certifications from Coursera between 2013 and 2017.
