James Mogavero

James Mogavero, CPHIMS, has extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. James is currently serving as the Senior Director of Information Technology at Maimonides Medical Center, where they oversee the technical operations of the largest Cancer Center in Brooklyn. In this role, they provide support to diverse communities and manages various service lines within the Maimonides Breast Center and Cancer Center.

Prior to their current position, James worked at Northwell Health, where they held multiple roles. As the Director of Information Technology, Radiation Oncology, they led an enterprise-level service line across New York City and its surrounding areas. James was recognized for their high performance and participated in teams that were finalists for the President's Award. In 2012, their team won the Innovation category. Additionally, James served as the Clinical Systems Administrator, Radiation Oncology, and as a Project Manager-Consultant during their tenure at Northwell Health.

Before joining Northwell Health, James worked at Deutsche Bank as the Deployment Team Manager. James also served as a Systems Manager at the NYC Department of Education and as a Project Manager-Consultant at AOL.

James Mogavero, CPHIMS, has a background in Theatre/Theatre Arts Management from Brooklyn College. James also holds a Regents Diploma from Bishop Ford CCHS. In addition, they have completed a Strategic Organization Course from Levinson Institute. In 2016, they obtained the CPHIMS certification from HIMSS.
