Kevin Cottingham, MS Ed. has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles in different organizations. Kevin currently works as an Adjunct Professor at The City University of New York. Prior to this, Kevin held various positions at Maimonides Medical Center, including Vice President of Operations, Assistant Vice President of Operations, and Assistant Vice President - Patient Relations, Security, Transport, Parking, Communications Centers. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing daily operations, establishing policies and procedures, and ensuring a safe campus environment. Kevin also served as the Director of Operations at Pain Management and as the Marketing Director and Marketing Coordinator at One On One Physical Therapy. Additionally, they worked at St. Athanasius School as a Teacher and Interim Acting Principal, and they spent a significant part of their career as a Sergeant in the New York City Police Department.

Kevin Cottingham, MS Ed. earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from John Jay College (CUNY) in 2004. Kevin later obtained their Master of Education (MS Ed) degree in Education and Special Education from Touro College Graduate School of Education in 2010. Additionally, they hold a certification as a NYS Certified Education and Special Education Teacher from the New York State Department of Education, obtained in the year 2010.
