Stephen Alkins

Stephen Alkins is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project development and management, currently serving as a Project Development Manager at Main Roads Western Australia since 2000. In this role, Stephen oversees a 16-member team, focusing on Traffic, Road Safety, Cycling, Bridge, and Bus Priority projects. Previous positions include Project/Contract Manager, Project Management Officer, and Asset Manager - Structures, where Stephen managed construction designs, project schedules, and bridge asset management across multiple regions. Prior to Main Roads, Stephen worked as an Area Engineer at John Holland, responsible for maintaining extensive railway tracks and managing large teams and budgets.
