Zac Hillis

Zac Hillis is an experienced Project Development Manager currently at XGS Energy since November 2025, previously holding the same title at Pine Gate Renewables from February 2022 to November 2025. Zac also served as Associate Project Manager in Development at Pine Gate Renewables and worked as a Special Assistant for Public Affairs at JTR Strategies from May 2021 to February 2022. Earlier in 2021, Zac contributed to the Colorado General Assembly as a Legislative Fellow. Zac holds a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Colorado Denver School of Public Affairs (2020-2021) and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy from Western Washington University (2017-2020).
