Lisa Desisto

Lisa DeSisto is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in media and advertising leadership. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Maine Trust for Local News since August 2023, Lisa previously held the CEO position at Sun Journal - Sun Media Group from August 2017 to August 2023, overseeing multiple newspapers and specialty magazines. Prior to that, Lisa was the CEO of MaineToday Media, where responsibilities included publishing notable regional newspapers. Lisa's career began at Boston Globe Media, where various roles included Chief Advertising Officer and General Manager of Boston.com, with a focus on driving advertising sales and profitability. Earlier experience includes marketing roles at The Boston Phoenix and Boston Magazine. Lisa holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
