Faculty Scientist II at MaineHealth Institute for Research

Anyonya Guntur is a highly experienced scientist currently serving as Faculty Scientist II at the MaineHealth Institute for Research, with a tenure that began in January 2011 and includes previous roles as Faculty Scientist I, Staff Scientist I, and Research Fellow. Prior to this position, Anyonya held an adjunct faculty role at the University of New England for a brief period in 2015. Academic training includes earning a PhD in Biochemistry from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, where Anyonya also completed graduate studies from 2003 to 2010. Additionally, Anyonya holds an MS in Biotechnology from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Acharya Nagarjuna University. Undergraduate studies were completed at Osmania University with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, and Botany, preceded by secondary education at Hyderabad Public School (R).
