Carolina Cora

Carolina Cora is a dedicated PhD candidate and researcher at the MaineHealth Institute for Research since October 2022, with prior experience as a researcher PhD student at The Jackson Laboratory from May 2022 to October 2022. Carolina's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Maine, ongoing since August 2021, and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Florida Gulf Coast University, completed in May 2020. During the undergraduate years, Carolina held several roles including instructional assistant for General Biology I, research assistant, administrative leader for Eagle View Orientation, mentor and tutor for student-athletes, and honors college mentor for first-time-in-college students. Additionally, Carolina served as an Eagle International Ambassador, showcasing leadership and commitment to academic excellence.
