Carolyn Chlebek

Postdoctoral Research Fellow at MaineHealth Institute for Research

Carolyn Chlebek is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the MaineHealth Institute for Research, specializing in the Rosen laboratory since June 2022. Previously, Carolyn served as a Research Assistant at Cornell University, where research focused on bone tissue and mechanotransduction in response to mechanical loading. Carolyn also held roles as a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and Teaching Assistant, contributing to graduate-level microbiome courses. Additional experience includes positions as an Inventor & Engineer at Hercules Spine, LLC, and roles at various research institutions, including the Hospital for Special Surgery and CeQur. Carolyn holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Bioengineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
