Matt Roelle

Matt Roelle is a seasoned professional in software engineering and controls, currently serving as Vice President of Software Engineering at Mainspring Energy since October 2010. Roelle oversees the roadmap for generator behavior and enhances development effectiveness while leading teams in Python and C++. Previous roles at Mainspring include Senior Director positions focusing on system architecture and software implementation for linear generators. Prior experience includes controls engineering at Hansen Medical, academic research at Stanford University on combustion modeling, and OBDII development at General Motors, where Roelle designed diagnostic algorithms for vehicle systems. Roelle holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
