Mukund Ganapathy

Mukund Ganapathy is an experienced mechanical design professional currently serving as a Senior Manager in Mechanical Design at Mainspring Energy since July 2024, overseeing Package Structure and Electromechanical teams. Prior to this role, Mukund held positions at Rivian from June 2018 to July 2024, contributing as a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer focused on battery and body structures, including architecture for R2/R3 battery modules and the R1 scalable skateboard platform, while also mentoring fellow engineers. Earlier experience includes serving as a Body-In-White Product Engineer at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, an Application Engineer at Altair, and an intern at Ford Motor Company. Mukund holds a Master’s Degree in Automotive Engineering from Clemson University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy.
