Sumedha Weerasuriya

Sumedha Weerasuriya is a seasoned professional in enterprise systems engineering with extensive experience at Mainspring Energy since October 2014, currently serving as Senior Manager of Enterprise Systems Engineering. In this role, Sumedha leads a team of 8-10 developers and architects to support the company's growing business needs. Prior to this position, Sumedha held several roles of increasing responsibility at Mainspring, including Manager of Enterprise Systems Engineering and Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer, where significant contributions were made to the development of the company's data infrastructure and the implementation of the EtaHub business data system. Earlier experiences include mechanical engineering roles related to the design and prototyping of linear generators and research positions at San Diego State University, where innovative manufacturing technologies for micro/nano components and 3D organic solar cells were developed. Sumedha holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University, completed in 2014.
