Ben Goss

Senior Director Research at Mainstay Medical

Ben Goss has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Ben is currently working as the Director of Research at Mainstay Medical since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at NuVasive from 2012 to 2019, holding various roles such as Director Clinical Professional Development, APAC, Director of Surgeon Education and Clinical Affairs, Senior Manager of Clinical Affairs, and Senior Manager of Marketing. From 2006 to 2012, Ben Goss was a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation, where they managed research programs and received funding for establishing a Spinal Cord Injury Registry. Before that, they were the Research Director at AOSpine Reference Centre from 2002 to 2012, focusing on orthopedic research. In 2001, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, leading a research team in polymer degradation.

Ben Goss obtained a Master of Applied Science degree in Materials from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 1995 to 1996. Ben later pursued a PhD in Materials from the same university, completing it from 1991 to 2001.
