Orestis Vardoulis

Orestis Vardoulis is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in health technology and innovation. As Co-Founder and CEO of ZeitMedical since January 2020, Orestis leads multidisciplinary teams to drive product development, culminating in the launch of a clinical-stage system within a year on a $400k budget. Currently serving as VP of Health AI & Research at Sleep Number Corporation, Orestis oversees a 15-person team focused on AI-driven digital health solutions, managing a multi-million-dollar R&D budget and ensuring clinical validation and regulatory compliance. Orestis has also contributed as a mentor at the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation and as a consultant for the UCSF-Stanford Pediatric Device Consortium. Orestis holds a PhD in Biotechnology and Bioengineering from EPFL and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
