Ajit Ketkar

Ajit Ketkar is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the engineering sector. Currently serving as Additional Chief Engineer at Maire Tecnimont since March 2020, Ajit provides crucial engineering support for material handling equipment related to plant design. Previously, as Head of Engineering at FLSmidth, Ajit managed a multidisciplinary team of 20 engineers, overseeing the Pfister division’s projects involving complex weighing and feeding systems. In earlier roles, Ajit led customer service engineering teams at Supreme Nonwoven Industries Pvt Ltd and managed bulk material handling equipment design at Metso Minerals. Ajit's career also includes significant contributions to Hamon Shriram Cottrell Pvt Ltd in setting up the engineering department, along with managerial positions at Thermax Limited and ACC Limited, and a foundational role at Thermax Babcock & Wilcox Energy Solutions. Ajit holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology.
