Vito Cofano

Vito Cofano has had extensive experience in finance and treasury roles. Vito started their career as a Junior Consultant at R.I.E. in 2004, before moving on to become a Treasury Analyst at Saeco International Group in 2005. At Alitalia, they worked as a Treasury Specialist from 2005 to 2009, and then as a Treasury Expert from 2009 to 2010. Vito then joined Vodafone as a Treasury, Insurance, and Grants Manager from 2010 to 2013. After that, Cofano worked at a2a, first as a Treasury and Financial Planning Manager from 2013 to 2017, and then as the Head of Financial Planning & Control from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they serve as the Head of Group Treasury & Financial Planning at Maire Tecnimont.

Vito Cofano has a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Economics and Finance from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, which they earned from 1999 to 2004. Vito also completed a Master in Finance and Control program at Bologna Business School from 2004 to 2005. Additionally, they conducted advanced research in financial econometrics for their thesis at Freie Universität Berlin in 2004. Vito pursued further professional training as a Professional Accountant Trainee at Studio Tributario between 2008 and 2011. Vito also attended a course on futures, options, and hedging at the London Metal Exchange in 2005. Prior to their higher education, Vito achieved exceptional performance at Liceo Classico with a final mark of 100/100.
