Glenn E. Johnson

Four years after joining the firm as a Vice President and Investment Manager, Glenn was named Senior Vice President and Director of Portfolio Management. In this role, he supervises portfolio management activities, including trading and investment risk management functions, conducts equity research and shares responsibility with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer for the Advisory business results.

Glenn began his career as an Equity Analyst with Piper Jaffray in 1985 and served in the same position with First Trust Company of Saint Paul, where he later became a Portfolio Manager. Later, he became a Senior Investment Analyst and Portfolio Manager with First American Asset Management in Minneapolis. He also served as a Senior Investment Manager with Wells Fargo Wealth Management Group for 11 years.

Glenn earned a BA from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the school's Carlson School of Management.

He is a CFA charterholder.

Glenn volunteers his time and talent with the F.R. Bigelow Foundation, an organization that seeks to enhance the quality of life for all in the greater Saint Paul area, fostering a vibrant East Metro region. He serves as a Trustee and Chair of the Investment Committee. He is also a member of the Investment Committee for the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundations, an organization that provides a full array of charitable giving vehicles such as donor advised funds.
